# Load MEC Files

The **Load MEC Files** option allows the user to load in the MEC parameters or Elastic Parameters from the DANTE material database based on the phase and material chosen.

## MEC Parameters

Loads in the **MEC parameters** from the .MEC file in the DANTE material database for the phase and material into the **Parameters** tab

## Elastic Parameters
